PlayViet_Nguyen Quoc CuongDifferent people approach success differently and they follow different mantras to achieve it. Some people believe in continuous innovation, some in the effective push-pull theory, while a few prefer to keep it simple and user-friendly. Our developer of this week, Nguyễn Quốc Cường chose to walk the path to success by keeping it simple and real.

Born and brought up in Hồ Chí Minh City, Vietnam, Nguyen was always fond of gadgets. He was intrigued by the mobile gaming industry and fascinated with the world of codes, C++ programming, Javascript, tools and libraries. He started writing codes in 2010 and is currently working as a game developer for a game studio in HCMC – Vietnam.

Nguyen doesn’t believe in the first-mover advantage. He thinks one should enter the industry by putting his best foot forward. He has many successful mobile apps up his sleeve – Pikachu Deluxe 2015 (250.000 downloads), Clumsy Bird Online (100.000 downloads), Aquarium Lines 98 (71.000 downloads) and Smurf Paring (290.000 downloads).

Like any newbie developer, Nguyen had to face a lot of challenges with monetizing his apps. On choosing Vserv as his monetization partner, he said, “I prefer Vserv’s app monetization tool – AppWrapper as compared to other tools as it’s simple, reliable and the planning of ads, content and the context is just perfect. Vserv’s fill rate is almost 100%, which definitely makes it the world’s finest and easy-to-use app monetization tool.”

For now, Nguyen aims to create more fun-loving games and offer users a good virtual experience. His word of advice for young, budding developers is, “If you believe in something, go ahead with it. Remember you don’t need to be the first, you only need to be the best.”

On that inspiring note, we hope that Nguyen achieves all his career goals and continues to create magic with his talent.
