Major business sectors like Retail, FMCG and Banking are quickly adapting & leveraging digital technology to change their game- plan in India today. This in turn has created a host of opportunities for young creative minds to think about newer avenues in app development; to make it more interesting while trying to simplify everyday needs of people. Pooja Arora from New Delhi, India; is one such player who uses her knowledge of multiple platforms to come up with smarter apps.
Pooja works in an MNC in New Delhi. She started her career working as a Symbian S60 developer, but a fortunate job opportunity exposed her to develop apps for multiple platforms like Brew, Samsung Bada, Android & Windows Phone. She had to learn and work on these within a short period of time. Although she considers this phase as a difficult one, looking back at it – she thinks it was a boon in disguise. This not only gave her the right opportunity to expand her skill portfolio; but it also provided her flexibility & newer platforms to test her creative ideas on.
Since the past 5 years, Pooja has been relentlessly developing mobile apps & has absolutely loved the journey so far. She firmly believes that this wave of mobile technological development touches every sphere of life.
Pooja faced some initial hurdles post college as she was trying to draw a parallel between what she had learnt & what was expected from her as a professional.
While talking about App Monetization issues; Pooja says, “I have tried various third party apps but so far my experience with Vserv has been the best. It is easy-to-use interface & minimum coding requirement makes it a no-nonsense platform & doesn’t hinder with the User Interface of my apps. It is very helpful from a developer’s perspective as it offers more scope for creativity.”
For the time being Pooja is planning to launch a host of new apps as soon as possible. Here’s wishing Pooja a fantastic future & best wishes in all her new endeavors!
