As 2014 draws to a close, we will be ending the year on a high note. This year has brought us several awards and accolades.

Our Associate Vice President – Global Marketing, Pranab Punj was featured on the World Marketing Congress’ and CMO Council’s 100 Most Talented Marketing Leaders listing. Pranab was awarded the title at the Global Marketing Excellence Awards which were held on November 13, 2014.

This award closely follows our recent win at MMA EMEA Smarties, where we won a bronze for Brand Awareness for our ‘Help a Child Reach 5’ mobile ad campaign created for Lifebuoy. A highly interactive, yet simple but direct mobile ad campaign helped Lifebuoy create awareness about personal health and hygiene. It also resulted in the brand raising 800,000 KES (Kenyan Shillings) for the cause via the mobile ad campaign.

We continued the trend at the recent Mobby’s Awards 2014, organized by the World Brand Congress, winning awards across three different marketing categories. At Mobby’s, we were chosen as the ‘Best Progressive Digital Marketing Company’, as this year we released our award winning products that helped resolve challenges faced by the mobile marketing ecosystem in emerging markets.

Our mobile ad campaign for the launch of Samsung Galaxy S5 won us an award for the ‘Best Use of Mobile in Marketing’ while our mobile ad campaign for the launch of Sony’s Xperia Z2 won the ‘Best Mobile Marketing Campaign’ award.

Our mobile ad campaign for the launch Samsung Galaxy S5 was aimed at positioning the Galaxy S5 as a device which goes beyond its premium smartphone features and offers an experience that makes the smartphone user’s life simple. The campaign which employed a gamification-led ad experience saw very good response, resulting high levels of user engagement. It also helped promote the Galaxy S5 effectively and created a high level of interest among consumers.

For Sony, we created a highly interactive mobile ad campaign that enabled smartphone users to discover the new features of the Xperia Z2. This campaign too delivered excellent results helping establish a good brand recall for the new smartphone and getting users interested in its class-leading features.

It has been quite a rewarding year for us so far and we hope to repeat our success story even next year and the ones thereafter.
