India’s leading newspaper Hindustan Times recently published a story on what makes our CEO Dippak Khurana tick.

The first thought that came to your head when you founded the company? I knew that the inception of was a stellar opportunity for me to create an impact in the global business scenario

What books have most inspired your leadership style? Good To Great by James C Collins.

What traits do you think the next generation CEO should have? Today’s rapidly evolving business environment requires CEOs to seize opportunities and implement swift decisions. It is also imperative for them to manage the company’s human capital

Most valuable advice you like to hand out to those at work… Do everything it takes to work with your team members and advance to the next level

Why would anyone want to work for you? I think working with me as part of Vserv will benefit individuals as they will get global exposure to learn how multiple business challenges can be successfully circumvented in the interets of an organisation

The fact that your organisation loves its people is proved by… Vserv employees believe that they are one united team while pursuing any task at hand and I can see this in a very tangible way

Any management best practices you’ve borrowed from other cultures/countries? Personally, I have inculcated best practices from US organisations in my style of working and at Vserv. US corporations tend to be innovative, far-sighted and their leaders are risk takers

If interviewing people, you are impressed by? The clarity of his/her skills is what impresses me the most in a candidate

Are you a web trawler? If yes, how much time do you spend on it? What social networking sites are you on? I spend about 15 minutes twice a day on the internet to check social networking sites. I mostly visit Facebook and Linkedin

What’s parked in your garage? What would you replace it with if you could, and why? Currently, it’s a Honda Civic but I would want to replace it with an Audi

Most expensive thing you bought last year… A pair of Nike shoes!

Weekends are for? My wife and daughters

You bust stress by… I regularly swim and do yoga

Your passion? To create new opportunities

You balance work and life by? My weekdays are completely dedicated to work while weekends are reserved for relaxing with my family

What do you hope people remember you for? I hope people remember me for building and sharing new opportunities

    Good to read that some company heads still treat their employee as Human Capital. Otherwise for many they are only “Resources”. Wish we have more companies and CEOs who feels that an employee is more than a resource.
