We have always believed that in the current era of data-led business and marketing, mere demographic data is not enough to understand smartphone users and engage them with relevant offerings. We substantiated this belief with our Smartphone User Persona Report (SUPR) 2015 reports for India, Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia. These reports mapped smartphone usage across each of these countries to offer an in-depth insight into smartphone users and their daily interactions with their devices.

SUPR for Thailand is a part of this effort to bring such insights to the industry to understand these users better and engage them with relevant offerings. The report, which is based on a study conducted by Nielsen Informate Mobile Insights maps smartphone users across Thailand into six unique user personas: Social Stars, Dabblers, Power Users, Conversationalists, Data Guzzlers and Explorers.
