They say that a genius starts very early in life. Jaime Enriquez developed a passion for gaming and programming when he was just 9 years old. Today, with more than 200 million mobile app downloads on the Nokia Ovi store and as CEO of Mexico-based Inode Entertainment Jaime knows a thing or two about making it big.
Inode’s journey in the mobile app ecosystem started in 2006, much before iPhone and Android happened. Jaime quit his day job and started working on his real passion – Mobile. He started working on his first mobile app in 2005. He had immense belief that the mobile medium was going to completely change how people would connect and consume content in the future. The team at Inode has developed several tools that make the development of mobile apps and games much more easier. Their apps have garnered millions in downloads which include the likes of Monster Truck Challenge, Moto Challenge, Lethal Mission & Super PinBall 3D amongst others.
Jaime is clearly someone who has always been ahead of the curve in terms of leadership, ideas and execution. We are proud and feel privileged to be part of Inode’s app monetization journey. Sharing his perspective Jaime mentioned “Our experience working with the team at Vserv has been fantastic. Their AppWrapper is super easy to use and provides a hassle free experience. Our revenues also have been consistently going up and we look forward to working with them for our future projects.”
Jaime proudly recounts how Inode was felicitated by Nokia for completing 35 million app downloads on their store at a breakfast held in Mexico City with Nokia CEO Stephen Elop. He adds “I was really moved and inspired when the Nokia CEO acknowledged us. In just a few months we tripled the number and touched 100 million downloads and 14 months later, we reached 200 million downloads.”
