We started our Southeast Asia operations in April 2012 and in less than a year we have witnessed outstanding growth. Our Ad requests from the region have grown 6X times and we have established key partnerships with premium publishers like Okezone, Kompas, Viva News, Antara News, Metro TV News, Utusan (Malaysia), Cosmopolitan (Indonesia).
Apart from our office in Singapore, we now also have established our on-ground presence in Indonesia & Vietnam, and will be expanding our teams in other key growth markets like Malaysia, Thailand & Philippines this year.
While Southeast Asia is considered one region, the mobile internet ecosystem is very different in emerging markets like Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand when compared to a developed market like Singapore, with each country having different economic and purchasing power dynamics. As a marketer it becomes imperative to understand and address these dynamics to be successful in the region.
Our go-to-market strategy was to take this ‘Glocal’ approach, and it has delivered exceptional results to the premium advertiser brands on our network, including P&G, Unilever, Nestle, Adidas, Aveo, Samsung, Nokia, GM,Telkomsel & Pizza Hut.
